Warranty
We warrant all of our products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery. We do not warrant against normal wear and tear, or damage due to customer accident or misuse. Natural variations in products made in whole or in part of natural materials, such as leather, wood or stone, are not considered defects. Handmade products will generally vary in color or texture.
Warranty claims must be presented to us via e-mail to warranty@italiandes.com or otherwise in writing, so that we may arrange for an inspection. Our responsibility is limited to reasonable repair of the product, or to replacement if the product cannot reasonably be repaired.
Shipping Methods
UPS Ground Commercial, UPS Ground Residential, 2nd Day Air, First Class Mail, Federal Express, and Priority Mail.
Shipping Rates
Note: Items will be shipped and carry additional charges (added to your purchase) due to weight and size.
FEDX or other Express Services carry additional fees, which will be added to your purchase.
International Rates
International rates are subject to the charges from individual carriers to specific countries. However, packages will be shipped US Post Office which have the most affordable rates unless otherwise requested. These will be added to your purchase. Payment Options
You may choose any of the following options: Major Credit Cards - Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. You may also pay by check, business or personal, in US Dollars, drawn on a US Bank; US Money Orders; or International Money Orders in US Dollars. We do not ship COD orders. However, check orders will not be shipped until check is received and cleared. Damaged Goods
Any product that is received damaged must be reported within 3 days of receipt. Italian Design Lighting & Accessories, Inc. cannot accept responsibility for any damages not reported within this timeframe. Upon receiving a product that is damaged, you must contact us at rma@italiandes.com for a Returned Goods Authorization number before returning the product.
Products received with broken glass or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, we will provide replacement glass or shades at no additional charge.
When returning any item, please be sure to pack the product properly. We recommend that you purchase shipping insurance. We cannot provide a refund for any product received in our warehouse in damaged condition. In such a case, you must file a claim with the shipping company and advise us as what to do with the damaged product. We will hold your product for 45 days, which after the product will be destroyed.
Return/Refund:
Please note there is a 30% restocking fee on all returned orders. Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA number will be good for 5 days. NO returns, of any type, will be accepted without a RMA number. All products returned must be properly packaged and have the RMA number prominently displayed on the shipping label, including all original packing materials and shipped freight pre-paid. No COD'S will be accepted. Some limitations and restrictions apply.
Cancelled Orders
You may cancel an order that has not been shipped unless it is a special order or customized product. Any cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer will be your responsibility and will be deducted from any refund.
Pricing or Product Description Discrepancies
Italian Design Lighting & Accessories, Inc makes every effort to assure the accuracy of the pricing and product information on our website. From time to time, pricing or product information may be inaccurate. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your order. A complete refund will be made for any items that have not yet been shipped. In the event of inaccurate product information, our sole responsibility will be to accept the product return and provide a customer refund.
